REPLACE YOUR EXPANSION TANK CAP. The old expansion tank filler cap may still seem new, but it is not! In the neck of the CAP is difficult to see two joint sealing, gaskets and regulating the pressure in the tank. I think seals get printed on the neck of the extension of the old tank and distorted to work only with this tank. Replace the tank and the former is used in a new tank will not work properly seals at the top of the former being, for lack of a better word, exhausted already. When I asked the old CAP on the new deposit, she felt loose and Sandy in the tank as it is twisted. 7 waste disposal at the junction of the lower radiator hose was the hardest part. I found that with the probe and the use of a tube long and narrow of robust steel, it is to place the end of the pipe in the borehole and enjoy the hose of the radiator with high metal frame heater that force it loses. This helped a lot. When will replace the bottom hose. Nice, Olaf! I'll have to study this and learn more about the cooling of things! Small note: the ' consumption o-ring air temperature sensor "allows you to adjust the temperature sensor in the tube lower radiator. ! If someone wants to save $10 or less and do not buy a new sensor, it is the o-ring to obtain. Thank you to read a few paragraphs feeling I work but do so as soon as my parts arrive. Sent from my PC36100 using brigitte. I would check the o-ring seal lid. and make sure that you clean your engine Bay of dirt and oil and other dirt which is easy to detect and locate leaks! (I do not know if you have an own Bay or not, but if you do.) ). I do not personally know you, but I have to say that all records of DIY (Yes, I have read all the!) are really very nice. Thank you for this wealth of knowledge! Hi, I have a 2005 Green with automatic transmission 330ci, today I tried to purge the cooling system but could only leave the radiator coolant and not the expansion tank. I do not have another drain plug also one under the expansion tank and am confused about how to drain the expansion tank. If I could get an idea of how empty the expansion would m3 cooling system overhaul be great. Thank you. I would also like to point out that just made this weekend on my 99 323i (radiator cooling review complete incl.) and had actually only bleeding screw under the HE and two fans! an electrical and a mechanical? And if my car is a standard, has always been? Someone at - it? Glad to say that the DIY was always very correct thanks to the information and the linksSent from my iPhone using BimmerApp. I just finish my DIY and do not remove the expansion tank, I had to remove the whole tank would not come out. Then, I had hammered him Assembly plastic. Thermostat broke as I expected. Plastic on the Assembly and the thermostat reminded me of chocolate. It was collapsing easily with your fingers. So now replaced the pipes, expansion tank and thermostat to, the main thermostat Assembly. Total cost of the part exceeds 500 USD. I used prestone coolant gold. Everything was easily assembled are plug-and-play. My advice is not to remove the old tank buy only the Assembly and the thermostat in and post the new bond in the new Assembly. Easier this way. Question? I live in New York and the time will now not allowed to work in my car does not have a garage. How long I can with my way to drive with the fugue and? ? U must be the only real difference fineOnly is if you have a machine where you withdraw a mechanical fan is everything! Kill time in the work of BimmerApp. . . .
